Rasta Defending The Faith

Rasta is not immune from criticism, but unlike most established religions, Rastafarians often face greater scrutiny and public ridicule for proclaiming and worshiping Haile Selassie as their God. Everyone has a right to form an opinion and the freedom to criticize anything, so It doesn't matter if you consider Rastafari a religion or not, they have the same right to their religious beliefs and the freedom to worship you ever they choose to.

Apparently, defending the Rastafari faith and character of His Imperial Majesty is not an easy task, so if you a put in a position to do so, remember facts and evidence are the most important assets in any debate. It's becoming easier to separate myths from reality given the ever-increasing volume of archeological, scientific and historical information available online to anyone, so the Rastafari community has to address these challenges with irrefutable data to support their claims.

In summary, there's no winner or loser in the debate on the ostensible divinity of Haile Selassie and the Rastafarians spiritual belief. However, Rastafarians have to realize that those who are skeptical of their religious beliefs and proclamations are not necessarily bias or uninformed people, in most cases, they are intellectually curious folks who just want the facts.
